YOU NEED TO FEATURE THIS NEW BAND

Check out a new artist that recently moved from Austin, Megan Heavlin Ochoa http://www.meganochoa.com
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, I Build Collapsible Mountains (IBCM) is the solo project of Luke G. Joyce. As former frontman for post-rock band The Gothenburg Address (ex-Arab Strap), Luke carries a strong history of performing to live crowds all around the UK and Europe. As opposed to his former band, however, IBCM is much more subdued and sees Luke returning to his roots as a singer-songwriter. Having released a debut in the UK, A Month of Lost Memories, IBCM has since been the recipient of many praises across the country. The Guardian described Luke’s music as radiating an “assuring warmth” while the Glasgow PodcArt admitted that IBCM “isn’t just another acoustic artist. [IBCM] is like fire
on a landscape.”
Taking 4 tracks from A Month of Lost Memories and adding a new track, the self-titled debut US EP is set to extend IBCM's sincere songwriting beyond the UK. From the more upbeat opening track "Rails" to the subdued last track "Switch", the EP never fails to capture the listener's attention and as one reviewer exclaimed – "you almost fall in love through listening."

You've featured this band once as your "top tune," but I can't believe y'all haven't fully embraced their work yet. The concept AND the music are truly impressive:

Plus, the main guy is currently playing keyboards for the Black Keys. Seriously, I love you KCRW, but someone's got to pay attention here. <3
I'd like to share my musical novel with you! Its a different concept, in which the musical novel consists of five chapters accompanied by five songs that reflect each chapter. I did the music and a writer in the UK wrote the chapters. You can read and listen to the whole thing at http://www.derekjordanmusic.com/predators.
It would be a pleasure to hear back! You can contact me at derekjordanrock(at)rocketmail(dot)com

COSTA MESA, Calif. – May 16, 2011 – Krochet Kids international (KKi) will host our
2nd in a series of concerts to support our new Peru project on May 27th at their HQ,
1930 Placentia Ave A5, Costa Mesa. Doors open at 8 PM. The organization has
successfully created a sustainable model for poverty alleviation in Northern Uganda
through the production and sale of one-of-a-kind headwear and fashion accessories.
With the new venture in South America, the organization has an opportunity to make a
long-term impact with an additional urban poor population.
This show will mark the first performances by The Stone Foxes and Parker Macy at
KKi’s HQ stage. The Stone Foxes, from San Francisco’s Bay Area, are on the fast road
to stardom with their high-energy southern rock sound, a song featured on Jack Daniel’s
latest TV commercial, and a recent spot opening for The Black Keys. Parker Macy is a
local favorite, winning ‘Best Blues’ at the OC Music Awards in March, a couple months
after opening for blues legend BB King at House of Blues in Anaheim.
KKi HQ serves as a unique venue, creating an opportunity for guests to enjoy an
intimate and personal showcase of the bands and the organization. Krochet Kids hats,
scarves, and shirts will be available, and great drink specials will be offered on micro-
brewed Lagunitas beer. Entry is $10 at the door, and is good for a voucher towards
product purchase. Details and RSVP on Facebook at http://on.fb.me/KKi2ndConcert.

Please check out and feature this brandnew electronica/ambient release feat. the magical Hang Drum :
http://www.reverbnation.com/gaudanproject
THE GAUDAN PROJECT Hold still
is a rhythmic and penetrating infusion of warm beats from a divine source.
The Hang, a unique instrument with an ancient sound and mystical feel, is played by global artist Gaudan. In a hybrid trademark sound that fuses downtempo hip hop & dub beats with cinematic electronic keyboard sounds , enhancing the Hang to develop its amazing and rich overtones. Produced and arranged by Roland Spremberg, international successful record producer and keyboarder from Studio 439 in Hamburg, Germany.
An introverted affair between external sounds and inner emotions of two artists who share a mysterious inner being which never stops
to be amazed to find the beauty and mystery of creation.
Gaudan is playing the Hang as a live, acoustic, solo performer enhancing Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Dagmar Spremberg, founder of Montezuma Yoga. The phenomenon of overtones unite the individual frequencies and create communication and harmony.
Love & Gratitude!
